Email Account Requests

Email accounts are available to all faculty and staff at the University of South Alabama. GroupWise is the most common email system among university employees; however, you have the choice of either a Jaguar1 or GroupWise email account. The best way determine which type of email account you should have is to ask your co-workers. If everyone in your department uses GroupWise, then you will probably wish to use GroupWise. That way, when you need a quick answer on how to do something you can ask a co-worker.

Employee Email Accounts are assigned to an individual who either works for the University or has some other official association with the University. To request a Jaguar1 account for an employee follow this link .

Group/Departmental Email Accounts are assigned to group or department within the University rather than an individual. To request a Jaguar1 account for a group or department follow this link.

Note: It will take one business day from the time you request the email account until it is active.
