The Office of International Education is committed to helping Alabama and USA compete in a global economy by assisting USA faculty, staff, and students with involvement in meaningful international outreach and service-learning programs, particularly in developing countries.
The goal of the International Education Expertise Database is to serve as a clearinghouse for information about the breadth and depth of international expertise and interests among USA's faculty and staff. The specific objectives of the Database are:
- To facilitate networking and collaboration among USA faculty, staff, and students with external partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
- To unite and engage USA faculty, staff, and students with international interests and expertise.
- To connect external audiences seeking international experts to USA faculty and staff with expertise in international development work.
- To help Alabama and USA deepen ties with other nations.
